A Thousand Moons

My Dad turned 80 last month and I wanted to celebrate this by depicting 1000 moons, which is roughly the number he will have lived through up to this point.

I made this image digitally and then screen printed it in three layers: The moons were printed in a fade of blue-black and yellow-lemon, all revolving around the pale blue dot of earth in the middle of the picture.
